After becoming old enough to become promoted from a volunteer, I continued my work leading K-5 classrooms, organizing large scale teaching operations, leading new hires and TAs, and finding and implementing new lessons in chess
As a Lifeguard for a local country club, I ran the pool chemicals, managed overall safety, set up/closed down, and assisted in rescues
After gaining my USCF tournament directors license, I ran or helped run and taught at chess tournaments of up to 150 students reinforcing teaching, leadership, managerial, and logistical skills
I, along with other UCSD masters students, built and modified cases for mini-computers using AutoDesk to design and modify cases with fun looks
My first intro to game development was the
recreation of this and other classics like Pong.
This was done primarily in JavaScript and stayed
true to the original with some minor tweaks
This Website was made with CSS and HTML using
fairly basic front end techniques and was one of my
first websites. I love fasion, interior design, etc.
so using Palette, basic color theory, etc. to make a
positive user experience was a good challenge
In many gaming communites, there are individuals
trying to "go pro" and seek out new types of aim
trianer they can use anywhere. I used basic JS, HTML, and
CSS while also getting exposed to Manifest V3 and the
sweeping changes it will bring to the internet.
While information on Senate trading is readily avaiable, I couldn't find a site with raw data that I could manipulate so, using Python and Scrapy, I built my own screen scraper. This taught me about avoiding detection by rotating things like IP adresses and some basic cybersecurity and bot construction.
To put my React skills to the test in a useful way, I created my own To-Do List Google Extension in React. While the code is fairly standard, I love design and enjoyed creating a user-friendly and well made UI
